The Qallariy Project focuses on repurposing organic waste from the dining halls of our mining units to convert it into pig feed. This initiative positively impacts the communities within our area of influence by creating business opportunities and fostering growth among the local population.

This initiative was born under the sustainable business model managed by Sinba, a socio-environmental company and our main partner in developing this project. Through Qallariy, two business opportunities are created: operating the bio-factory and marketing pork by improving pig farming practices for women in the communities.

Qallariy is part of a new approach to mining that we are implementing at Alpayana—one that embraces sustainability and environmental care while involving communities in actions for comprehensive development.
