We are a Peruvian mining group specialized in underground mining, producing zinc, lead, copper and silver. We have four mining units in the central highlands of Peru: Americana, Yauliyacu, Iscaycruz and Morococha.
We are part of the Peruvian mining tradition, Alpayana originated from the legacy of Minera Casapalca, legally consolidated in 1986. In 1997 we continued our growth by obtaining the main concessions from Centromin Peru and other nearby deposits, marking the beginning of a sustained and responsible development.
At the end of 2019, we undertook a cultural transformation by formally introducing our four corporate pillars and made the name change to Alpayana, giving rise to our purpose of identifying opportunities to transform the environment through actions that generate a real and positive impact.
In December 2022, we consolidated our growth by acquiring 100% of the shares of Empresa Minera Los Quenuales (formerly part of Glencore), incorporating the Yauliyacu (Huarochirí) and Iscaycruz (Oyón) polymetallic units. In September 2023, we continued to drive growth with the acquisition of Compañía Minera Argentum (formerly part of Panamerican Silver) with the Morococha mining unit in Junín.
To achieve this, we have 4 corporate pillars that are the backbone of our Alpayana culture:
